Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-07-14
These terms govern use of the pr-completion plugin software and documentation published under the repository anur4ag/pr-completion.
License
The software is licensed under the MIT License.
The full text is in LICENSE in the repository.
In short, you may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the software, subject to including the copyright and permission notice. The software is provided “as is” without warranty.
No hosted service
pr-completion is distributed as local plugin source and packages. These terms do not create a hosted SaaS agreement. There is no plugin-operated runtime that you log into.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the plugin to:
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
- bypass security controls except where you are explicitly authorized on repositories you control or are permitted to change;
- violate GitHub, Anthropic, OpenAI, or other provider terms applicable to your accounts;
- misrepresent a readiness observation as permission to land, or a submitted landing request as a completed merge.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the repositories, credentials, and machine permissions you grant your coding agent;
- reviewing commits, pushes, PR changes, and the exact per-PR landing confirmation before approval;
- complying with your employer's and customers' policies;
- deciding whether to approve the guarded auto-merge or merge-queue request for a PR the plugin reports as ready.
Third-party services
Use of GitHub, Claude Code, Codex, Python, and other tools is governed by those providers' terms and privacy policies. The publisher of pr-completion does not operate GitHub.

Marketplace or directory verification badges, when shown by a third-party platform, are controlled by that platform's verification process and are not automatically conferred by these terms.
No warranty and limitation of liability
As stated in the MIT License, the software is provided without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for claims, damages, or other liability arising from use of the software.
Changes
Terms may be updated in source control for future versions. Continued use of a newer version constitutes acceptance of the terms shipped with that version.
